I travel quite a bit for work and was getting frustrated trying to manage everything on a single laptop screen. I decided to try Ekran after comparing a few options. What stood out was the sharp screen and the slim design.
The first thing I noticed was how solid it felt despite being so thin. Setup was straightforward as it was genuinely plug and play. The screen clarity is excellent, especially for spreadsheets and side-by-side documents.
I’ve used it in hotels, cafés and at home, and it’s made working away from my usual desk far more comfortable. It packs flat into my bag and doesn’t feel like a burden to carry. Definitely one of the more useful purchases I’ve made for work in the past year
Charlie BrooksVerified purchase
ReviewingEkran Lite
I work hybrid between home and office, and I was looking for something that would make both setups more consistent. Ekran has done exactly that.
The screen is sharp, colours look great, and it feels premium rather than plasticky. I was slightly concerned about stability because it’s so slim, but the magnetic folio stand works well once positioned properly.
What I like most is how quickly it turns any space into a proper workstation. Whether I’m at the dining table, a client’s office, or a café, I feel organised and more productive. It’s not a cheap accessory, but it feels like something built to last. It's definitely something which I will bring with me everywhere I go.

I spend a lot of time working between client offices, home, and trains into London, so having a consistent setup has always been a challenge. I bought Ekran hoping it would make working on the move easier, and it genuinely has.
The biggest difference is the extra screen space. Being able to keep emails on one screen and documents or spreadsheets on the other saves a surprising amount of time throughout the day. The QHD resolution also makes text very sharp, which is important when you’re staring at documents for hours.
What I appreciate most is how slim and lightweight it is. It slides into my laptop sleeve without adding much bulk, so bringing it along never feels like a chore. The build quality also feels premium and durable.
If you work remotely or travel frequently for meetings, it’s a very practical addition to your work setup.
James ClarkVerified purchase
ReviewingEkran Lite
I bought Ekran mainly because I’m often moving between meetings, working from home, and spending time in co-working spaces. Having a consistent dual-screen setup wherever I am sounded appealing.
After using it for a month, it’s become part of my daily workflow. The screen clarity is excellent and the extra space makes tasks like reviewing designs, analysing reports, or running video calls much easier.
The portability is the real win though. It’s thin enough to slide into my bag alongside my laptop without feeling like I’m carrying extra equipment.
The overall quality and convenience make it feel like a worthwhile investment if you rely on your laptop for work.
Sophie LanghamVerified purchase
ReviewingEkran Lite
I originally bought Ekran because I was struggling to manage research papers, lecture notes, and assignments all on one laptop screen. It was constantly switching tabs and losing track of things.
Having a second screen has made studying much easier. I can keep a paper or lecture slides open on one display while writing notes or essays on the other. It makes everything feel much more organised.
The size is perfect for carrying to the library or campus as well. It fits easily in my backpack without adding much weight, which was important since I’m already carrying books and my laptop.
The screen quality is also really sharp, so reading text for long periods feels comfortable. If you’re studying and regularly writing essays or doing research, it’s a surprisingly useful tool.
Tom DVerified purchase
ReviewingEkran Lite
I bought this mainly for dissertation work where I’m constantly referencing different articles and data sources.
Overall it’s been very helpful. Being able to split tasks across two screens makes research much smoother and helps me stay focused. The display is clear and bright, and the monitor feels well built.
The stand took a bit of adjusting initially, but once I found the right angle it’s been fine. I mainly use it in the library or at home, and it’s easy to carry around.
For students doing lots of reading or writing on laptops, it’s definitely useful

After a few weeks of using Ekran, it’s become something I instinctively pack in my work bag. The extra screen space makes a big difference when working on reports or spreadsheets, especially when travelling.
The display itself is very sharp, text looks crisp and it’s comfortable to work on for long stretches. I’ve used it in hotel rooms, cafés, and client offices and it always feels like a proper second screen rather than a compromise.
Portability is where it really shines though. It’s thin enough that I barely notice it in my bag, which means I actually bring it everywhere rather than leaving it at home.
Overall it feels like a well thought-out product. If most of your work happens on a laptop, the extra screen space quickly becomes hard to give up.

Spending most of the day in spreadsheets means screen space is always valuable. Ekran has been a very helpful addition to my setup when working away from my usual desk.

Been using Ekran for about two weeks now and it’s honestly one of those things you don’t realise you needed until you have it.
I work mainly from my laptop and constantly had loads of tabs open. Now I keep email and Slack on the second screen while doing actual work on the laptop. It sounds simple but it makes the whole workflow less chaotic.

Used it in a couple of different places already. Home office, café, hotel and it worked perfectly each time. Setup is basically instant and the display looks great.

These days I split my time between home, the office, and the occasional café. Having a portable second screen has made that routine far smoother.
The QHD display looks excellent and feels comparable to a good laptop screen. I regularly keep Slack or email open on Ekran while working on presentations or documents on my main screen, which makes multitasking much easier.
Build quality is also better than expected. Despite being very slim it doesn’t feel fragile at all. It’s clearly designed to travel.

Switching between tabs all day was starting to drive me mad, especially when travelling for work. After using Ekran for a couple of weeks, the difference is obvious.
Being able to keep emails or reference documents on the second screen while focusing on the main task on my laptop saves a surprising amount of time. The display itself is excellent. Very sharp text and comfortable to look at for long periods.

I travel for work at least two weeks every month, and Ekran's monitor has completely transformed how I work from hotels and airports. Setup takes under a minute, the display is crisp, and it folds away neatly into my laptop bag. I genuinely don't know how I managed without it.

I've tried two other portable monitors before this one and both felt flimsy and underwhelming. This is a completely different experience. Solid build, gorgeous screen, and the colours are accurate enough for my design work. Hugely impressed

As a freelancer who moves between client sites, having a dual-screen setup wherever I go has made a massive difference to my productivity. The Ekran monitor is compact, sturdy, and looks professional on any desk. Absolutely worth the investment.

The display quality on the Ekran Pro is genuinely impressive for the size, and it's become a regular part of my on-the-go setup. My only gripe is the stand could be a bit sturdier on uneven surfaces. That said, it does the job well and the screen itself is excellent. Would still recommend.

I originally picked up this monitor for a long work trip, but I've ended up using it at home too. It sits next to my main monitor and acts as a secondary screen for emails and Slack. Brilliant bit of kit, genuinely versatile and well made.

I've been using this for about three months now and it's held up really well. I use it mostly in co-working spaces and occasionally from home. Picture quality is great and it doesn't take up much space in my bag

I bought this after seeing it recommended in a productivity forum and I'm so glad I did. It pairs perfectly with my laptop and the 14 inch size is ideal for travel without feeling too small to actually use. Build quality feels premium and it's become a permanent fixture in my work bag

The display quality is genuinely impressive and it fits neatly into my work bag alongside my laptop. It took me a few days to find the ideal setup for how I like to work, but once I did it became an essential part of my routine. Good product, just expect a short adjustment period.

I've been using this daily for about two months now and overall I'm very happy with it. The screen is clear and bright, it connects without any fuss and it's light enough to carry around all day without noticing.

Before the Ekran Pro I was constantly frustrated by being limited to one screen when I was away from my desk. Now I have the same setup wherever I go. It's quick, it's sharp and it feels solid. Couldn't ask for much more.
